Hi!

Today’s card is a Valentine’s one for my husband featuring Neat and Tangled “Purrrfect” stamps. I love this stamp set because it reminds me of my two cats, Grumpy and Sakura. They don’t love each other (yet) and I can’t imagine them napping like that!

So I stamped the kittens on Bristol paper using Versafine Onyx black ink and colored the image as my two cats with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Next, I used the coordinating dies. I used the dies to diecut some hearts too which I colored using alcohol markers.

I knew I wanted to use this super pretty paper from Dear Lizzy “Lovely Day” paper collection. It’s perfect for a Valentine’s card, and I didn’t wanted to cover it too much, so I made a white oval frame nesting two “Stitched Ovals” dies from Lawn Fawn. For the sentiment, I trimmed down a strip of black cardstock, stamped “Purrrfect Together” and a heart with VersaMark ink, and heat embossed it with rose gold embossing powder. Finally, I adhered the pattern paper panel to a card base and glued the rest of the elements. I used foam tape to glue the kittens. As a final touch, I cover the hearts with Glossy Accents.

I hope you like this card. I’m entering it into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: It must be love

Thank you very much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
