An ice birthday card

Hola!

Today I’m sharing with you a birthday card I made for my dad using Lawn Fawn products. I love using winter themed stamp sets for winter birthdays, don’t you?

First, I stamped the images from “Critters in the Arctic” and “Sealed with a kiss” stamp sets on Neenah Solar white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink, colored them with ShinHan Twin Touch markers and fussy cut them. I thought the two little seals could be seen as baby walruses, what do you think? By the way, I gave the critters party hats from “Lovable legends” stamp set and covered them with Glossy Accents.

For the sea, I inked a piece of Bristol paper with VersaColor mint ink and ran it through my Big Shot using “Stitched hillside borders” dies. I stamped the sentiment with the same VersaColor ink and heat embossed it with Wow! “Bluetiful” embossing powder. Next, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using “Stitched mountains borders” dies and spritzed it with some water mixed with Perfect Pearls, which gives you a super pretty sparkling snow. Last, I glued a blue cardstock panel to the card base, and added the mountains, the sea and the critters.

I know maybe this card is not the one you would make for your father. Fortunately, my dad knows how silly I am and that I love such cute images. And I must say he displays all the cards I made for him in the living room, and it makes me so so happy!!

I hope you like this card!

Thanks for stopping by! Have an ice day 😉
