Hi!!

Today I’m sharing a card featuring the super cute hedgehogs from Lawn Fawn “Hedgehugs” stamp set. This is one of my first stamp sets and I love it! Plus, I think is super fun to color the hedgehogs’ spikes.

I stamped the images on Bristol paper with Versafine Onyx black ink and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Then, I ran them through my Big Shot using coordinating dies.  Next, I used Lawn Fawn “Outside in Stitched Rectangle Stackables” dies to die cut two panels of blue and green cardstock to be my sky and my grass, so on the green panel I used Lawn Fawn “Grassy Hillside Borders”. In that green panel, I stamped some stems from Lawn Fawn “Dad+Me” stamp set and glued the die cut flowers from Lawn Fawn “Wonderful Window” die.

I wanted to make a pull tab card to make the hedgehog on the left kiss his partner. I used Waffle Flower “Pull Tabs” dies to make the mechanism. I glued the hedgehog to the panel and checked the mechanism was working fine. I adhered the grass to the blue panel and glued the scene to a piece of pattern paper from Lawn Fawn “Let’s Polka in the Meadow” collection. To complete the scene, I added some clouds (“Simple Puffy Cloud Frames” and “Simple Puffy Cloud” dies) and some heart die cuts from a piece of cardstock I had inked with Peachy Keen ink. Last, for the sentiment, I used “Bannertastic” stamp set adding a bit of color to the banner using alcohol markers.

I’m entering this card into Lawn FawnaticsChallenge #45 – Lots of Love

and into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday ChallengeHave a Heart

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
