Hello and Merry Christmas!

Today I’m sharing my last-minute Christmas cards for my family. I made these on Saturday so I could give them to my relatives on Christmas Eve. I think I’m going to be making cards till the 7th of January since in Spain the Holidays are not over until the 6th of January when the Three Wise Men bring us presents. So maybe some people will be receiving very late Christmas cards 😉

Well, these cards were super easy to make. I was wishing to use my Mama Elephant “Me and my Yeti” and “Sentiments from Yeti” stamps and dies. Plus, the Yetis are perfect for quick cards since they are big, super cute, and don’t need much color. I stamped them on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with ShinHan Touch Twin markers (I bought some in Phnom Penh during my honeymoon). I also stamped the garlands and color the stars with silver and gold pens. Then, I run everything through my Big Shot with coordinating dies.

I went for bokeh backgrounds in different colors. I blended different Distress Ink colors on five pieces of Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock trying to get a color gradient. I splattered some water with a paintbrush and dry it with a paper towel after few seconds. Next, I used Lawn Fawn “Lets’ bokeh” stamp set stamping different solid circles with the same ink I used for the background and with Lawn Fawn yeti ink. Then I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder, except for the purple card, where I used silver embossing powder.

I adhered the background panels to card bases and used foam tape to glue the Yetis. I glued the garland and used Glossy Accents on the Yetis’ horns. Last, I glued some matching sequins from several mixes from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards.

I’m entering these cards into Simon Says Stamp Work it Wednesday December 2017: New, since this is the first time I used all these stamps and dies!

And into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes

I hope you like these cards. Have a nice day!!
