Hi!!

Today I have another Christmas card featuring La Vida en Scrap stamps. The stamp I used is from a spring-themed stamp set called “Faunia”, but combined with some Lawn Fawn stamps is perfect for a Christmas scene.

I stamped the bow and the mistletoe from Lawn Fawn “Baaah Humbug” stamp set on Bristol paper with Memento Ladybug ink and with Memento bamboo leaves ink. Then, I stamped the hares with VersaFine onyx black ink on Bristol paper masking the hearts and masked the hares to stamp the hearts with red ink. I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut them.

I blended some Cracked Pistachio and Worn Lipstick Distress inks on a watercolor panel with a very light hand to get a soft look, and then spritzed it with water to get some texture. I die cut two hills from white cardstock using Lawn Fawn “Stitched hillside borders” dies and spritzed some water mixed with Perfect Pearls for a frosty touch. It can’t be seen in the pictures, but the result is beautiful! When it was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment from Lawn Fawn “Baaah Humbug” stamp set, masking the “ewe”, and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I stamped the word “you” from Lawn Fawn “Believe in yourself” stamp set and heat embossed it using WOW Red Glitz embossing powder. Next, I die cut some trees using Mama Elephant “Birch trees” dies and added some shadow to the edges with ShinHan Touch Twin Brush markers.

I mounted the scene using foam tape for the hares and the mistletoe. Finally, I adhered the scene to a card base and added some Wink of Stella to the hearts and the mistletoe.

I love how this turned out. The shimmer on the snow is so pretty! And I think the scene is very sweet 🙂

I hope you like it!
