Hola!

Today I’m sharing a card I made using the lovely otters from Mama Elephant “Otterly Adorable” stamp set. I ordered this stamps and dies when they were released but I hadn’t used them yet. Shame on me! But I had the perfect excuse: I had to make a newborn baby card.

First, I stamped the images on Bristol paper using Versafine Onyx black ink and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I used the coordinating dies to die cut them. Next, I used Mama Elephant “Ocean waves trio” dies on two pieces of Bristol paper and inked them with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Then, I blended Dried Marigold on a Bristol panel, cover it with My Favorite Things “Sun ray” stencil and inked it again. I drop some water on all the inked pieces and I dried them with a paper towel after few seconds.

This culotte by A de Azúa is the gift I send them with the card.

I used the wavy dies included in “Otterly Adorable” dies on the ocean panels to insert my otters there. I think those dies are super clever! Then, I glued the panels to a kraft card base (I used foam tape on the front panel) and place the otters using liquid glue and foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Peanut Brittle ink and made the frame using Mama Elephant “Madison Avenue” dies on kraft cardstock. Finally, I added some details to the otters with a white gel pen.

I hope to make more cards using these super cute stamps.

Thanks for stopping by! Have an otterly great day!! 😉
