Hola!!

Today I’m showing you a birthday card for a child featuring Mama Elephant “Lunar animals” stamps. I think these animals are perfect for cards for children because they are super sweet.

I started making the background panel. I blended Scattered Straw and Died Marigold on a strip of my Bristol panel and then covered it with Hero Arts “Waves” stencil and blended the same colors again. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx black ink and heat embossed it clear.

Next, I stamped the animals using Versafine Onyx black ink on Bristol paper, colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut them. Then, I glued the panel to a card base and adhered the images using foam tape.

I hope you like this super simple card. As you’ve probably guessed from the title, I was inspired by the Town Musicians of Bremen. When I was a child, Spanish TV made an animation series called Los Trotamúsicos, which I loved, and suddenly remembered it while I was looking at the stamp set thinking of which kind of card I would make.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day!!
