Hi!

Today I have a floral card I made featuring Altenew “Peony Bouquet” stamp set to congratulate a couple on their wedding. I find it hard to make cards with flowers, but I think they are beautiful and elegant.

My card was inspired by this wonderful card by Kelly Latevola. I decide to use a pink color palette so I blended Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, and Shaded Lilac Distress inks on watercolor paper and then I stamped the flower three times with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed the images using clear embossing powder.

The sentiment is from Mama Elephant “A whale wishes” stamp set. I stamped it with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed using clear embossing powder too. I adhered the watercolor panel to a lead-gray piece of cardstock and then adhered this front panel to a white cardstock card base. As a final touch, I added some clear sequins.

I hope you like it!

I love that the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is Think Pink, since October is breast cancer awareness month, so I’m entering this card in the challenge.
