Hola!

Today I have some very simple winter cards I made using Purple Onion Designs stamps designed by Stacey Yacula. I really love these stamps, these are probably the sweetest animals I have ever seen!

I ordered these stamps back in July, and when I mounted them I just had to stamp them!! I wanted to use those images, so I made some very quick and easy cards. I picked up some Lawn Fawn patterned papers (these are from the beachside petite paper pack) and color the images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to match the papers. Then I trimmed three strips of white cardstock and I stamped some Lawn Fawn sentiments (from “Yeti, set, go” and “Baaah Humbug” stamp sets). The sentiments in the owl card and in the fox card are heat embossed with Ranger Black Sparkle embossing powder, and in the fox card, I used Glossy Accents too.

For the bunny card, I used a Fiskars border punch with the Threading Water cartridge on the white cardstock strip and stamped the sentiment with Lawn Fawn deep sea dye ink.

Finally, I adhered everything together using foam tape and double-sided tape and used some Wink of Stella in the animal clothes for a shiny final touch.

Although these are very simple and kind of “trial and error” cards, in the end, I like how they turned out. I think my favorite is the one with the owl. What do you think? Do you like them?

Thanks for stopping by!

These cards are being entered into Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday August 2016 Challenge, Stamps:
