Hi!

Today I’m sharing a birthday card featuring Mama Elephant “Party animals” stamp set. I love these cute rabbits having fun!

For the background, I used Mama Elephant “Brushed florals” stamp set. These stamps are gorgeous, and getting beautiful backgrounds with them is so easy! I stamped the flowers and leaves with Distress Inks, stamping white pigment ink on top of some of the images for mutting the color a little bit. Then, I used Lawn Fawn “Large stitched ovals” dies on this background panel and on two pieces of Bristol paper. I inked one Bristol paper oval with Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose Distress Inks. I ran the second Bristol paper oval through my Big Shot using Lawn Fawn “Grassy border” die and inked this piece with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks.

I stamped the images on Bristol paper using Versafine Onyx black ink, colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, and fussy cut everything. For the sentiment, I used Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Indian Gold on a piece of Bristol paper and after it was dried I stamped the sentiment from Lawn Fawn “Ready, set, shake” stamp set using Versafine Onyx black ink. I had to let it dry for quite a long time. If I did it again, I would heat emboss it for sure.

I adhered the background panel to a card base, and next glued the oval, the grass, and the images. As a final touch, I used Sakura Stardust clear glitter pen on the stars on the hats and on the glasses because they are drinking champagne 😉  and added Glossy Accents to the balloon, the candles, the glasses, and the stars on the hats.
