Hola!

Today I’m sharing a birthday card featuring Neat and Tangled “Big Top Birthday” stamp set. This is the first Neat and Tangled stamp set I got, it was a birthday gift from my sister, and I thought it was perfect for the current Little Tangles Challenge and for celebrating Neat and Tangled 5th anniversary. Happy Birthday!!

I used “Hexastar” stencil for making my background. I blended Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, and Scattered Straw Distress Inks on a piece of Bristol paper. I love using stencils for the background, it’s so easy to get beautiful results!

Next, I stamped the images on Bristol paper using Versafine Onyx black ink. I did some masking to stamp the balloon so it doesn’t look like a donut. I colored the stamped images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut everything. I die cut the word celebrate six times using Neat and Tangled “Celebrate” die and glued them together. Then, I press it on my Versamark ink pad, cover it with black sparkle embossing powder, and heat embossed it. I repeated the process two more times. Next, I die cut an A2 size panel from black cardstock using Mama Elephant “Peek a frame” dies and adhered it to a card base. After that, I glued the background panel and the “Celebrate” die-cut. Finally, I glued the images using foam tape.

I used Glossy Accents on the ballon and on the cake, and Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops on the lion’s nose. I also added some clear iridescent jewels from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards.

I’m entering this card into Little Tangles Challenge #83: Birthday

and into Simon Says Stamp Work it Wednesday

Have a nice day! Thanks for stopping by!
