Hi!!

Today I have a card featuring Paper Smooches “Surf and turf” stamp set. I really like these stamps because I love creating ocean scenes.

I stamped the images on watercolor paper using VersaFine onyx black ink, colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens, and then cut them with scissors. Then, I cut out two circles from watercolor paper using Martha Stewart Circle Cutter (circle dies added to my Christmas list!) and die cut the sandy hills using Lawn Fawn “Stitched hillside borders” dies and the waves using Mama Elephant “Ocean waves trio” dies. I die cut the clouds from the other circle using Lawn Fawn “Puffy clouds frames”.

I blended Antique Linen Distress ink for the sandy hills, Tumbled Glass for the sky, and Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers for the ocean and adhered these pieces together. I cut parts from the cloud frames to make the white waves and adhered these and the other images to the scene.

For the striped background, I did some masking with Post-it tape and blended Mama Elephant winter pigment ink. Then, I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using Wow Bluetiful embossing powder. Finally, I adhered the circular panel and the clouds to the striped panel and then everything to the card base.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
