Floral Card for Numera

Hola!

I know it has been a hot minute since my last post (almost a year!), but sadly, I’m not making many cards these days. Well, life update: I began to work again after my maternity leave/unemployment, and I find it hard to find some time/motivation to make cards. But I still love seeing what other crafters share and enjoy watching YouTube tutorials.

Today I’m sharing a card I made for a friend who just defended her Ph.D. thesis. I wanted to make a card to congratulate her and tell her that I am going to miss her so much. She loves flowers, so I had to use these beautiful peonies from the ‘Peony Bouquet’ stamp set from Altenew. I love how easily you can get astonishing results with Altenew’s layering stamps! I don’t even have many ink pads, and I think these flowers turned out great.

AltenewNumi001

I arranged the flowers and glued them to a white cardstock panel I had previously embossed using a stencil. I saw this technique in this Yanna Smakula’s tutorial a long time ago, and I decided to give it a try. Honestly, I am amazed by the result, although is barely visible in the pictures.

AltenewNumi002

I love how the gold embossed images match the gold sentiment.

Finally, I mounted everything on a light pink panel and glued it to a card base. I added the word hooray, die cut from gold cardstock, and the sentiment, heat embossed on a light pink stripe of cardstock.

Although floral cards are not my jam, I am happy with how this design turned out. I hope you like it!

I’m entering this card into Altenew Inspiration Challenge – January 2023:

Gym Rats card

Hola!

Yay! I made a card! 🙂 It has been a while since my last card. As I mentioned in a previous post, I haven’t much time to craft, and I’m making the milestone cards for my baby, so that is mostly my only crafting. But I wanted to make a card for the physiotherapist who has helped me with the childbirth classes and later with the hypopressive exercises. Now, after a lot of encouragement, I’m working out with her help.

WF-GymRat2021a

I thought this Waffle Flower “Gym Rat” stamp set was perfect for making a card for her. I knew I wanted a tiled backdrop to simulate the Zoom screen since the classes are online. To make that backdrop, I used several Lawn Fawn dies.

WF-GymRat2021b

The mice were colored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I find difficult choosing the color schemes in these type of cards (basically, any non-scene card), but I like the one I used in this card.

WF-GymRat2021c

I love making my own backgrounds using stamps, and this set has very cool small stamps, perfect for that.

Cruising by slider card

Hola!

Today I’m sharing a slider card featuring Sunny Studio “Cruising Critters” stamp set.

CumpleMarc2020a

I colored the images using watercolor markers. I love coloring images that are quite big, like this car full of cute animals.

CumpleMarc2020b

I knew I wanted to make a slider card because it is perfect for this stamp set. When you pull the tab, the car moves in the opposite direction. Isn’t that cool?

CumpleMarc2020c

Part of the sentiment is hidden behind the car, and it is visible when you use the mechanism. I used Lawn Fawn “Let’s Bokeh” stamp set, partially stamping the word shine.

Here you have a short video of the card to watch how the mechanism works.

Thank you very much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Ocean Scene Surprise Card

Hola!

Today I’m sharing a card I made with some images I’ve colored for The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge. I’ve already shared these images on Instagram, but now I want to show you an ocean scene card I’ve made with them. At first sight, we have a simple beach scene, but when we open the card there is an underwater scene too!

LF-BeautifulBeaches2019d

I stamped the images on Strathmore Bristol Vellum paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink. This paper has a different texture on each side, I used the smoother one. Then, I colored all the images with Faber-Castell Polychromos color pencils. I used images from Lawn Fawn “On the beach”, “Sea Horsin’ Around”, “So Jelly”, “You are Sublime”, “Manateerific”, and “Lovable Legends” stamp sets and then I die cut everything using coordinating dies, except for the Kraken.

LF-BeautifulBeaches2019a

I don’t know if this kind of folding card has a specific name, but if you do, please, tell me because I’d love to know! I prepared a long piece of paper and scored it so when is closed it is a 4-Bar card. I blended Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean on the top of this card base to make the sky and stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx black ink. Then, I used Lawn Fawn “Stitched Hillside Borders” dies to die cut some wavy panels from Bristol paper. I inked these panels to be the sand on my scene, using Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks and then I spritzed a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water. Next, I used Mama Elephant “Ocean Waves Trio” dies on a long piece of Bristol paper, blended Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio on it and flicked some water. I scored this panel and glued it along with the sandy hills to the card base.

LF-BeautifulBeaches2019b

Finally, I adhered all the images to the card and added some details to them: Sakura Black Glaze pen to the eyes and Glossy Accents to the windows of the submarine. Here you have a video of the folding/unfolding of the card:

This is one of those cards that turned out just how I had planned. I love it! Coloring all those images totally worth the effort 🙂

Fiesta Veraniega

Hi friends!

Today I’m sharing my project for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, and that is why the title of the blog post is Fiesta Veraniega (Summer Party) because the challenge is about parties.

LF-FAP01

To decorate the bottles I used Lawn Fawn “On the Beach” stamps and dies. I love the fox and the bear tanning. I wish I could, but I have very pale skin and I sunburn easily.

LF-FAP06

First I stamped the images on Bristol paper using Versafine Onyx black ink and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Then, I used coordinating dies to die cut the images.

LF-FAP02

I cut strips of blue and kraft color cardstock and then used Mama Elephant “Ocean Waves Trio” dies for the sea and Lawn Fawn “Stitched Hillside Borders” dies for the sand. To give more texture to the sandy pieces, I splattered some Gathered Twigs and Picket Fence Distress Inks mixed with water as well as a mixture of water and Perfect Pearls in copper color. Next, I wrapped the bottles and added the images. Maybe it is a busy scene, especially for a bottle decoration, but I love it!!

LF-FAP4-5

I made some straw decorations too. I thought it would be nice to have beach umbrellas for the critters. To make them I used Lawn Fawn “Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables” dies. I used the biggest die on Bristol paper and then did some masking to ink the sectors. I used Abandoned Coral, Mermaid Lagoon and Scattered Straw Distress Inks.

LF-FAP07

Then I scored the pieces and, after die cutting a circle in the middle, I cut them in half (following the black line I drew in the picture) and glued the two pieces together. Last, I folded the flaps using the stitching line. I love how the beach umbrellas turned out!

Happy Little Critters

Hi!

Today I’m showing you a card I made for Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #44 – Happy Little Critters.

Lawn Fawn’s critters stamps are my favorites. I have quite a few and I’d love to have them all! For this card, I used “Critters in the Arctic”, “Sealed with a Kiss”, “Hedgehugs”, “Baaah Humbug”, “Toboggan Together”, “Home Sweet Home” and last year’s Stamptember stamp set “Nutty or Nice?”.

I stamped all the images on Bristol paper with Versafine Onyx black ink and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Then, I fussy cut all the images and painted the edges with a black marker.

LF-HLC2019a

I wanted to make a trifold card to fit all the critters I had colored. I used Lawn Fawn “Stitched Hillside Borders” dies to trace the snowy hillside and the waves on masking paper and then I cut them with my scissors. I placed the mask on the long piece of cardstock I was going to use as my card base and blended Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks for a winter sky. Next, I spritzed some water and water with Perfect Pearls and dried it with a paper towel after a few seconds. For the ocean on the right side, I used Victorian Velvet Distress ink and Neat and Tangled “Rice Paddies” stencil.

LF-HLC2019b

Next, I glued all the animals to the card and stamped the sentiments heat embossing them on white. For the word “ice” I used Neat and Tangled “Journaling Alphas” dies and covered them with Lawn Fawn Prisma glitter.

I hope you like this card!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Party in the Moon Card

Hi!!!

Today I’m sharing the birthday card I made for my hubby. We have two cats: Grumpy is his cat and Sakura is mine. I wanted us to be represented by our cats in this card.

LF-CumpleAitor2018a

So the idea behind this card is that some aliens are abducting Grumpy while she is sleeping! I inked a piece of watercolor paper with Distress inks and flickered some water, Perfect Pearls and white paint to get a starry sky. I stamped the images from Lawn Fawn “Beam Me Up” and “Meow You Doin’” stamp sets and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I used coordinating dies to die cut the images from “Beam Me Up”, and fussy cut the ones from “Meow You Doin’”.

LF-CumpleAitor2018c

The spaceship beam is heat embossed with WOW Clear Hologram Sparkle embossing powder.

I used Lawn Fawn “Outside in Stitched Scalloped Circles” dies to die cut a window on the card base and the same die to die cut a piece of black cardstock I had previously die cut with Lawn Fawn “Forest border” dies. I used the MISTI to stamp the sentiment curved into the card front.

LF-CumpleAitor2018b

When we open the card, we have a pop-up scene: the aliens have taken Grumpy to a party in the moon that Sakura had organized to celebrate her birthday!! 🙂

LF-CumpleAitor2018d

All the images are colored with the same markers. Here I also used Lawn Fawn “Out Of This World” stamps and dies and “Let’s Bokeh” stamps to make the space helmet for my cats.

LF-CumpleAitor2018f

For the galaxy background, I blended Distress inks on Bristol paper and flickered some water, Perfect Pearls, and white paint. For the moon ground, I used Pumice Stone Distress ink and spritzed some water. I used Lawn Fawn “Everyday Pop-ups” dies to pop up the moon hills, which are die cut with Lawn Fawn “Stitched Hillside Borders” dies. I also used acetate pieces to make some pop-up elements for Grumpy and Sakura, who is floating in the space.

LF-CumpleAitor2018e

I looooove this card! It turned out just as I had imagined. Hope you like it too!!!

Have a nice day and thanks for stopping by!!

Shadow Box Card – Rat Gym

Hi!!
I haven’t had time to craft lately because I’ve been busy with some work trip and some holidays… and in the summertime, I enjoy outdoor activities and I don’t really spend much time at home. So it took me ages to finish the card I’m showing you today. I used Waffle Flower “Gym Rat” stamps and dies. Aren’t these hamsters adorable? I love them!! So I thought about making a shadow box card that looks like a rat cage/gym 🙂

I stamped the images on Bristol paper with Versafine Onyx black ink and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Then, I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images. I looked for a circle die in my stash to cut the inside of the rat wheel and used a craft knife to open a window on the rat cage. Then, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx black ink.

I decorated the cardstock for my shadow box stamping some small images from the same stamp set using Lawn Fawn Yeti pigment ink. Then, I put together the shadow box and added the rats. I had to stamp more images because it seemed to me that I needed more elements… do you think it is too busy? Or do you like lots of images on your shadow box/ pop up box cards?

I wanted some white space to write a message, so I stamped the rat cage image masking the water dispenser and then I used a black pen to trace the black line. I die cut the image and adhered it to the backside of the shadow box, adding another super cute rat.
I’m quite happy with how this card turned out! I hope you like it too!!

Le Tour de France

Hi!!

We all relate certain events with summer and for me one of those is The Tour de France. Since I was a child I’ve seen my dad watching The Tour on tv after lunch, or should I say taking a nap while The Tour was on tv 😀

So the card I’m showing you today is totally inspired by The Tour. I used Mama Elephant “Rowdy Raccoons” stamp set, because the raccoon riding a bike is perfect for this card, as well as the racoon waving the pennant.

I colored the raccoons with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut them. I inked the background with Distress Inks using a stencil to make the brick wall. I used Lawn Fawn “Wonderful Window” die and placed the racoon peeking through it, cheering up to the cyclist, who wears the yellow jersey, indeed!! I added some grass using Lawn Fawn “Grassy Border” die.

I used Waffle Flower “Pull Tabs” dies to make an slider mechanism for the raccoon to ride the bike and show he wears the yellow jersey deservedly 🙂  I glued this background panel to a piece of pattern paper from Lawn Fawn “Let’s Polka in the Meadow” paper collection.

I wanted this card to be a pop up card, with the rest of the raccoons wearing the other jerseys. I used a lot of Lawn Fawn dies: Stitched Mountain Borders, Stitched Hillside Borders, Forest Border and Everyday Pop-Ups for making all the layers. I had to measure and cut a lot, but totally worth it! I added the sun from Lawn Fawn “Out of this world” stamp set and the flowers from Lawn Fawn “Manatee-rific” stamp set.

The sentiment is from “Rowdy Raccoons” stamp set, and I think is perfect for this card’s theme.

Christmas gift tags

Hola!

In Spain most people give Christmas presents on the 6th of January. Well, I should say the Three Wise Men are bringing us presents on the 6th of January 😉 Today I’m sharing with you the tags I made for my family gifts using several Lawn Fawn products.

First, I used two “Puffy stars stackables” dies on some Simon Says Stamp “Glimmery Sunshine” cardstock so I had a star shaped window for my critters to show through. I used the bigger of these two dies on black cardstock and on some paper from “Knit picky” collection too, because I wanted my tags to be star shaped mini cards as well.

I scored the pattern paper stars at around half an inch from the stars’ tip and glued those tips to the golden stars to have my mini card bases. Next, I trimmed the tips of the black stars and glued them to the inside of the card bases. I used “Say cheese” die to cut the hole for the ribbon because it die cuts two little holes. The problem is that the hole is very close to the tip end of the star and it’s very easy to tear the card apart threading the ribbon… So today I have ordered a Crop-A-Dile taking advantage of some sales 😉

I stamped the images from “For you, deer” stamp set on Neenah Solar White cardstock. I stamped the back side of the animals twice because their paws peek out the lower part of the stars. I colored the images with my ShinHan Touch Twin markers and die cut them using coordinating dies. Then, I glued the front and the back of the critters together and trimmed down the second backside of the critters so I could glue it on the front to have their little paws there too. Next, I adhered these super cute critters to the card.

I used Golden Glitz Delicata ink to stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card. I placed the sentiment carefully so the animals cover it when the mini cards are closed. With the same ink, I stamped the backside of the mini cards. I have a little bowl on my desk with a lot of die cuts and stamped images, and I found there some little hearts from “Wonderful window” die, I think. I inked them with a red alcohol marker, glued them to the back of the critters and covered them with Glossy Accents. Last, I threaded the ribbon and made a knot.

I’m super happy with these tags. “For you, deer” is one of my favorite Lawn Fawn products from last year. I really love those critters!

I hope you like these tags. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Baby Dino Card

Hola!!

Today I’m sharing another newborn baby card. This time I used the super cute dinos from Neat and Tangled “Prehistoric” stamp set I previously colored for The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I can’t get enough of this stamp set!

I stamped the images on Strathmore Drawing paper using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them using Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. Then, I fussy cut everything. For my background, I blended several colors of Distress Inks on a piece of Bristol paper, spritzed it with water and dried it with a paper towel after few seconds. Next, I flicked watered down White Fence Distress Paint using a paintbrush. I love using this technique for galaxy backgrounds!

BabyDino3

I used Lawn Fawn “Stitched hillside borders” dies on a piece of brown cardstock to make the ground. I stamped the sentiment from SSS and Neat and Tangled “Cute chicks” collaboration stamp using Versamark ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I wanted to frame the scene, so I made a frame from white cardstock nesting two dies from Mama Elephant “Peek a frame” dies. Finally, I adhered the background panel to a card base and glued the rest of the elements. For making the heart I used Lawn Fawn “Valentine borders” dies on a piece of Dymo embossing labels and glued 5 tiny hearts together.

BabyDino1

I wanted to enter this card into the current Little Tangles Challenge #84: Inside of card/matching envelope, so I made a matching envelope.

84 Inside of card-Matching envelope

I used my WRMK envelope punch board on a piece of Bristol paper and stamped the cute cavegirl, the little dino and the bubble with the sentiment. I masked everything and used Lawn Fawn “Stitched hillside borders” dies on a piece of post-it roll tape to make another mask. I used again my Distress Inks to make a galaxy background and then, I masked the sky and blended Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to make the ground. I colored the images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and, finally, I used La Vida en Scrap “Escríbeme” stamp set to stamp the names of the future parents on Versamark ink and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. This card is not going to be mailed, so I could use this beautiful calligraphy stamp set, which I love <3

Sakura’s Birthday Card

Hola!!

A few days ago was Sakura’s birthday, so I made a birthday card for her. I love that there are many cat themed stamp sets now and I can find any excuse to play with them 🙂

For this card I used Lawn Fawn “Meow you doin'” stamp set, that I think is fabulous! I stamped the images on Bristol papel using Versafine Onyx black ink, colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut everything. The cat is colored like Sakura 🙂 Next, I trimmed a piece of watercolor paper and blended Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, trying to achieve an ombre effect. I spritzed the watercolor panel with a mixture of water and Perfect Pearls, and I dried it with a paper towel after few seconds.

Then, I used the big die from Mama Elephant “Peek a frame” dies on black cardstock for my background panel. I randomly stamped the fishbone, the mouse, the paw print and the heart with Versamark ink and heat embossed everything using white embossing powder. I also white heat embossed the sentiment on a thin stripe of black cardstock.

Sakura with her birthday card.

Then I adhered the black and white panel to the card base. I adhered a clear thread to the upper back of the pink panel and to an action wobbler, where I also adhered the kitten image. I glued this action wobbler to the pink panel, and the panel to the background. Last, I glued the two yarn balls together sandwiching the clear thread, and the sentiment stripe. Here I have a video of the card:

I must tell you that I almost can’t share this card. I was trying to film the video when Sakura caught the yarn ball and freed  the thread. Lucky, I can put everything together 🙂

CASometry Challenge3: Stage 3

Hola!!

Today I’m sharing my card for the third stage of Anna Kossakovskaya‘s CASometry Challenge 3. Randomizer. This week, besides using a random stamp set, we had to use embossing.

This time my boyfriend chose a stamp set that I was looking forward to using: Lawn Fawn “Pizza my heart”. This stamp set is so versatile and cute and fun to use! I had a great time using it!

First, I stamped the pizzas on Bristol paper using Versafine Onyx black ink and colored them using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Then, I stamped the ingredients using Memento Bamboo Leaves, Peanut Brittle, Lady Bug, Tuxedo Black, and  Rich Cocoa inks. I love the pepperoni rosy cheeks! After that, I fussy cut the images.

Next, I trimmed a piece of Bristol paper to a standard A2 size, stamped the ingredients randomly using Versamark ink and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. Then, I blended Dried Marigold and Tattered Rose Distress inks. After that, I trimmed a stripe of white cardstock and used Lawn Fawn “Stitched borders” and “Stitched scalloped borders” dies. For the sentiment, I used La Vida en Scrap “Escríbeme” stamp set to stamp “amatxu” (that means mammy in basque) using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then used my MISTI to stamp “you’re the greatest!” using Memento Lady Bug ink, and then stamped it again with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Last, I adhered the background panel to a card base, the strip with the sentiment to the background panel, and the happy pizzas to the strip using foam tape.

I loooove this card. It was so much fun to make! I’m going to tell you a secret. Next Sunday is Mother’s Day in Spain, and I made this card for my sister Arantza. She is a wonderful mother to my nephew Telmo and is always very supportive of me. So I really enjoy making cards for Telmo and for her, because they’re always happy to receive them. I know she probably is going to read this before receiving the card, but I hope she enjoys the card anyway!

I hope you like this card! Thanks for stopping by!

Wedding Card

Hola!

Today I’m sharing a wedding card I made using Altenew “Peony Bouquet” stamp set. These flowers are just gorgeous, aren’t they? I think they are perfect for elegant wedding cards.

First, I stamped the flowers and the sentiment (from Mama Elephant “Whale wishes” stamp set) on Arches watercolor paper with Versamark ink and heat embossed them using gold embossing powder. I did some masking to have some leaves and flowers behind the big flower. I wanted to color the flowers in some way to get a pearly effect, so I smushed Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress inks on a laminated paper and mixed the inks with Perfect Pearls. Then I colored everything using these homemade pearlescent watercolors. I love the shiny look, it’s so beautiful!

Then, I added Antique Linen Distress ink around the flowers to give some depth. Finally, I adhered the front panel to a blue card base using double-sided tape. As you can see, I made a coordinating envelope stamping the big flower and heat-embossing it with gold embossing powder.

Tiny Ninjas Spinner Card

Hi everyone!

Today I have a card featuring Mama Elephant “Tiny Ninjas” stamp set. I loooove this cute ninjas, I’m a sucker for japanese themed things!

I wanted to make a card for Seven Hills Crafts April Sketch Challenge, and I had a hard time deciding which card should I make. Here the sketch:

april17sketch

Finally, I decided to use these super cute ninjas and this is my card:

First, I used Lawn Fawn “Small stitched ovals” dies to die cut a window in my card base and a big oval from dark blue cardstock. Then, I used Mama Elephant “Cityscape” dies on black, grey and white cardstock and blended Memento tuxedo black ink into the white die cut piece to get a dark shade of gray. I trimmed pieces of yellow cardstock and glued them on the back of the cityscape die cuts, glued the three die cuts pieces and used the oval die on them. Then adhered this skyline to the blue oval piece and everything into the inside of the card.

Then, I stamped the ninjas, gifts, shurikens and the flower bouquet with Memento Tuxedo black ink on white cardstock, colored the images with alcohol markers and fussy cut everything. On the front side of the card I stamped repeatedly the “hi-ya!” sentiment and the shuriken using Mama Elephant Winter ink to get a soft pattern. Then I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink. The diagonal element of this card is the thread I sandwiched between the spinning ninjas and held to the corners of the card with the big shurikens. Last, I adhered the other two ninjas to look like one of them is running along the thread and the other one is sliding along it, on their mission of delivering the presents 😉 Last, I adhered the last ninja to the inside of the card with a pile of gifts.

I hope you like this card!

Have a nice day!

Father’s day card

Hello again!

This is my second post today!!

I want to share a Father’s day card I made for my dad. In Spain Father’s day is on the 19th of March, but we couldn’t meet him until yesterday, so he had to wait for his card 🙂

For this project, I used Lawn Fawn “Dad+me” stamp set. It’s sooooo sweet!!! I really love it.

First I stamped the bears with Versafine onyx black ink on Bristol paper and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut them. Then, I die cut the mountains with Lawn Fawn “Stitched mountain borders” dies and the hillside with “Stitched hillside borders” dies. In this last die-cut piece I stamped the lake with Lawn Fawn Mermaid ink and then I stamped it again with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next, I inked the hills and the mountains with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress inks, respectively, and the sky with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. Then, I stamped the sentiment using Memento Bamboo Leaves ink.

Last, I die cut the frame from kraft cardstock using Mama Elephant “Madison Avenue” dies and adhered everything together and to the card base. As you can see, I also decorate a tiny bit the envelope using the small stamps in the set.

I hope you like it! Have a nice day!

Home Sweet Home

Hi everyone!

Today I’m sharing with you a very simple card I made for a family who is moving to a new home. They are a really nice young couple with three beautiful children. I wanted to make them a card to celebrate that they finally are in their new home.

I began stamping the house  from Lawn Fawn “Home sweet home” stamp set and the trees from Lawn Fawn “Yeti, set, go” stamp set on Bristol paper with VersaFine onyx black ink and colored these images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. For the smoke, I stamped an image from Lawn Fawn “Science of Love” stamp set with Memento lady bug ink. Then, I stamped randomely all the houses using Mama Elephant winter ink. I love this ink for making soft patern backgrounds!

I trimmed the panel and used Lawn Fawn “Stitched borders” dies on both pieces. I stamped the sentiment on a lead gray panel with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. Finally, I adhered the front panel to the gray panel using foam tape, and then adhered everything to a card base. For a shiny final touch I glued some sequins from Lucy’s Things “Winter mint sparkly shaker selection” and added some Wink of Stella to the trees and some Glossy Accents to the window.

I wish they are happy in their new home and I’m glad we still live in the same neighborhood!

Spinner Christmas card

Hi!

I know is soon for Christmas cards, but I thought I should begin with them if I don’t want be in a hurry by November with tons of cards to do and a short deadline. So, I bought this adorable stamp set, Lawn Fawn Baaah Humbug. These sheep are soooo cute!

I was looking forward to making a spinner card, and the standing sheep is perfect for that.

First, I stamped the sheep twice, and the little present and the Christmas list. I colored everything with ShinHan Touch Twin brush markers and other alcohol markers from Tiger (these are not very good, but are really cheap). I added Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to the present and the Christmas list. Then, I cut out a circle in a card base and in other piece of cardstock with Martha Stewart Circle Cutter (I don’t have a die cutting machine…).

I stamped the holly leaves and the tiny berries with Memento Bamboo Leaves and Lady Bug inks to create the pattern on the front of the card. Then, I stamped the greeting on white cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Wow Red Glitz embossing glitter. Finally, very carefully, I put everything together.

Is so fun watching the sheep spinning!!

Hope you liked it!
