Hi!!

Today I have a card I made for a very special little person: my nephew Telmo, who is turning 4. Time flies!! I wanted to make a childish card for him because I don’t want him to grow up.

I used Mama Elephant “Lunar animals” stamp set. I love those cute animals! I also used the gift from Lawn Fawn “Year five” stamp set and, for the barn, a house from Lawn Fawn “Home sweet home” stamp set. I stamped everything on Bristol paper with VersaFine onyx black ink, colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, and fussy cut them. On the little sheep, I used the Marvy snow marker with the heat gun. I love the effect, it’s sooo cool!!

I blended Tumbled Glass Distress ink on a watercolor panel, and then I use Mama Elephant “Picket fence” die and Lawn Fawn “Grassy border” die on watercolor paper and blended Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress inks on the die-cut pieces. I spritzed these pieces with water and let the water sit a few seconds before dry with a paper towel.

I mounted the scene using double-sided tape and foam tape. Next, I adhered the scene panel to some Lawn Fawn “Beachside” paper, and then attached everything to a card base.

I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card with Distress inks, although I knew I wouldn’t get a crisp image. I used the wonderful calligraphy letters stamp set “Escríbeme” from La Vida en Scrap. I love this stamp set! By the way, “zorionak” is what we say in Basque to wish happy birthday.

I can’t wait to give this card to Telmo. I hope he likes it!!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day!!
