Today I have a card using Lawn Fawn “Yeti, Set, Go” stamp set. I think the Yeti is adorable and this stamp set has so many possibilities!!
I did a rather simple card. First I stamped snowflakes with Versamark ink in a lead gray piece of cardstock and heat embossed everything using WOW Clear Hologram Sparkle embossing powder. This was the first time I used this powder and I really like the shine I got, I think the effect is very beautiful!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThen I cut out a circle from this front panel and from a white cardstock card base using the Martha Steward circle cutter. I stamped the “Yeti it’s cold outside” sentiment (BTW, I love this sentiment! :)) on a piece of vellum with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Ranger Super Fine White embossing powder. I adhered the piece of vellum to the back of the panel using double sided tape.
I wanted make it look like the Yeti is seen through a snowstorm, so I inked a piece of vellum with Saded Lilac Distress ink to match the front panel color and adhered it between the card base and the front panel.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI stamped the Yeti and his ear muffs with Versafine Onyx Black ink on Canson Bristol paper and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush. I added Glossy Accents on the ear muffs and the tongue, and colored the teeth with a white gel pen. I adhered this panel to the inside of the cardbase so you can see the Yeti through the circle.  I was feeling like the card was unfinished, so I decided to add the “need a hug?” sentiment in the inside of the card.

Detail of the inside of the card.

I hope you like it!!

This card is being entered into Lawnscaping Challenge #136: Punny Time136
