Hi!!

Today I have a super fun summer card featuring Lawn Fawn “Baaah Humbug” stamps. Yes! A summer card using a Christmas stamp set! I’m totally in love with these sheep, I love sheep and these remind me of “Shaun the Sheep” tv series 🙂

First, I stamped the images on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink, colored them using ShinHan Touch Twin Brush markers, and fussy cut everything. For the sunglasses, I used Lawn Fawn “Lovable Legends” stamp set. I think the hearts included on this set are the perfect size for the glasses, and I stamped them with Memento Lady Bug ink. For the shark fin, I used the bottom of one of the ghosts from Lawn Fawn “Booyah” stamp set. The glass is from Mama Elephant “Otterly adorable” stamp set. Next, I made the float using the smaller die from Lawn Fawn “Small stitched ovals” on a piece of paper from Lawn Fawn “Let’s polka in the dark” paper collection. I used my craft knife to cut a slot in the float for the sheep and also to cut around the sheep’s paws.

I used Mama Elephant “Peek a frame” dies to die cut two panels from Bristol paper and one from vellum. Then, I used Lawn Fawn “Stitched hillside borders” dies on one of the Bristol panels, and Mama Elephant “Ocean Waves Trio” dies on the vellum panel. I used Lawn Fawn “Slide on over” dies to die cut a slide on my background and vellum panels. Next, I blended Wild Honey and Dried Marigold Distress inks on the background panel, Peacock Feathers on the vellum panel, and on the front panel, I used Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs for the sand and Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers for the sea. On the sand, I used some brown alcohol markers, my Sakura Stardust clear pen, and also applied some Picket Fence Distress paint with a brush.

Next, I used La Vida en Scrap “Escríbeme” stamp set to stamp the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. Last, I adhered everything together and to a card base, and added some details with a white gel pen and Glossy Accents to the float and to the sunglasses.

I love this sheep, I think she looks so cool with her float!! I hope you like this card.
