Hi!

Today I’m sharing a card featuring Sweet Möma “Miaumaid” stamp. This is the cutest mermaid cat I’ve ever seen! When I saw it I immediately fell in love and I was super lucky because the same release day I could purchase it in my local scrapbook store.

First, I stamped the image on a piece of Neenah paper using Memento Tuxedo black ink, masking her arms and stamping the shell to make her a bra 😀 Next, I colored it using alcohol markers. I colored some scales with a gold gel pen and then added Wink of Stella on the tail and on the shells.

I wanted to make a star-shaped card, so, using Lawn Fawn “Puffy Star” dies, I die cut two stars from Bristol paper, one from white cardstock and one more from vellum. To make the sea, I used Mama Elephant “Ocean Waves Trio” dies on one of the Bristol paper stars as well as on the vellum one. I inked the background star with Salty Ocean, and the ocean one with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.

For the sentiment, I used Lawn Fawn “Scripty Thanks” die on black cardstock and also on Simon Says Stamp Glimmery cardstock. I glued the two die cuts slightly offset and then adhered them to the vellum piece so I could add glue behind the sentiment to adhere it on top of the wavy panel. Next, I added that panel to the background star-shaped panel and added some clouds I had die cut using Lawn Fawn “Simple Puffy Cloud Frames” dies. Last, I used an action wobble to glue the mermaid kitty.

Thanks for stopping by!! Have an amazing day!
