Hi!

Today I’m sharing a card featuring Neat and Tangled “Stay Cool” stamp set, which has some lovely images of cute children and critters. As I have tons of Christmas/Winter themed stamp set, I decided to make more winter cards during the season. I know everyone is making Valentines projects, but I just don’t feel in the mood yet.

I stamped the images on Bristol paper with Versafine Onyx black ink and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Then, I fussy cut all the images. I wanted the cuffs and the hood look fluffy, so I used a snow marker and a heat gun to get the look.

I used Lawn Fawn “Outside in stitched rectangle stackables” dies to die cut two panels: one for the background and the other to die cut two hills using Lawn Fawn “Stitched hillside borders” dies. I spritzed a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water on the hills to give them a frosty look.

Then, I blended Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar, and Dusty Concord Distress Inks on the background panel to make a beautiful winter sky. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment on white. I glued this panel to a dark blue card base and adhered the hills and the images using foam tape. Last, I added Wink of Stella on the word COOL to give it a shiny look.

I’m happy with this card. I love the look of the snow marker on the child’s coat. I hope you like it too!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
