Hola!!

Today I’m sharing a card I made for my hubby, because some days ago it was the anniversary of our first date. Lawn Fawn “Manatee-rific” stamp set is perfect for this kind of card. Plus, this is one of my fav stamps sets from the summer release. Seriously, how cute are these manatees??

I colored the manatees with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and used the coordinating dies to die cut all the images. I inked a watercolor panel with Distress inks using Hero Arts “Waves” stencil. I rotated the stencil because I wanted the effect of seaweed instead of waves.

I used Mama Elephant “All prettied up” dies to die cut the scalloped frame and then adhered the panel to a card base with foam tape. I used foam tape to adhere the manatees as well.

For the sentiment, I stamped the word “cheers”, from Lawn Fawn “Let’s bokeh” stamp set, and the rest of the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed it on silver. As a final touch, I added a few sequins from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards and some sparkle here and there using Wink of Stella.

I’m entering this card into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Fun in the sun

I hope you like this card!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!!
